This came during the reception of His Eminence a delegation from the Ahl al-Bayt Foundation (peace be upon them) coming from Spain.
Sayed al-Safi said that" the holy city of Karbala is about to host the major Ziyarat, represented by Ziyarat of the months of Muharram and Safar, as it receives more than 20 million visitors from various countries, "stressing that"the city has become a haven for the hearts of all its visitors".
He added that"the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine is working to provide all the necessary amenities and supplies to perform the Ziyarat rituals with ease and fluidity, and provides all services free of charge, and it also receives those coming to it from all over the world and welcomes them".
In his conversation with the delegation of the Ahl al-Bayt Foundation(peace be upon them), Sayed al-Safi pointed out that "the Iraqi people are still adhering to their morals, customs and good culture, based on the foundations and teachings of the Islamic religion towards their visitors".
He pointed out that"after taking over the administration of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine after the year 2003, work was done to establish many scientific, cultural, educational and medical institutions that would serve the public interest".
His Eminence extended an invitation to the members of the delegation to work on opening the horizons of cooperation between the two parties in the medical and academic fields.
